High school film festival - KHF visits high schools in the countryside this winter.
During these visits, KHF also offers a short course in filmmaking, where you will go through the main aspects of filmmaking, such as filming, scriptwriting, recording of live material and editing. Students in the course create a minute long film with the use of their phone. Almost everyone has a high-quality film camera in their pocket. A film camera can be borrowed if needed.

At the end of the course there will be a small celebration. First, the minute films of the participants in the KHF course will be premiered, followed by some selected short films that have won awards at previous KHF festivals. These are prize-winning films from the festival in March 2022 as well as the best short film from 2021 and 2018. We also show works in progress.
The instructors are: Þór Elís Pálsson, Þorsteinn Arnar Þorsteinsson and Ísold Ylfa Teitsdóttir.
